What Materials Do You Need?

  2. Scissors
  3. Wooden beads (optional)
  4. A wooden stick for a base (optional)

Let’s begin,

If you do not have a stick as your base, you can take the Macramé cord as your base.

In this tutorial, we will take a base cord length of 10 feet and place 3 wooden beads at regular intervals for the first Macramé pattern.

Create 6 lark head knots from a 40-inch Macramé cord folded in half (20-20 inches each)

Note: You can adjust the number of lark head knots according to the length of the garland you want.

In this tutorial, we will repeat the knots 22 times.

So, now let’s begin with the first part of the 6 lark head knots section.

Start creating square knots in the section.

Once you are done creating the first row of the square knots, start offsetting the square knots in a pyramid form.

Once you have created a pyramid shape with the double square knots, it is time to secure the square knots with diagonal hitch knots.
